"This song came from always thinking that girlfriend was going to breakup with me, every day i was just dreading that she would sit me down and start the speech starting "we have to talk..."

The one day I got home and i heard "we have to talk..." and I jumped to the conclusion that she was dumping me.
My response was to just cut her off, agree, and back pedal out this conversation so I could drown my sorrows.
She left and I wrote this song, weeks later the funny thing was that she was about to say "... I Love You, and we should take things more seriously"
We got back together and all was great! But it is a funny story!"
